THE SUN CENTER WORK

IN THESE days of confusion in the outer world, all sincere and earnest people are feeling the need of a reliable source to which they can turn for final authority on the many questions concerning life and its problems that are now confronting them.

As has been taught in the little book, The Impersonal Life, there is only one final authority for every man on all questions, and that is the I AM, the Holy Spirit of God in man,—that Power that is the life and intelligence within him, and which from the beginning has caused him to do all that he does and to become what he is today.

Many thousands of students have become conscious of and are being directed by this Divine Power within themselves through the help of the teachings in The Impersonal Life, and not a small number are now able to hear Its Voice, are being guided by It, and are definitely obeying It as It speaks from out the heart. But in order to make the message of this little book more far'reaching, and available to all seekers on every stage of the Path, especially to those not yet capable of fully understanding and following the directions in the book, a system of Spiritual Instruction and guidance has been created upon the foundation laid by the truths in its message, that more completely fills the needs of the earnest seeker, no matter on what stage he may be at this time.

The Impersonal guidance and advice thus provided is given by THE SUN CENTER through three different graded channels, or Courses of Instruction, fitted to the particular stage of consciousness in which the student is at the time. Briefly, these three phases of the work are devoted,

(1) To the development, discipline and training of the mind and of its mental powers and processes, aided by clear explanations of the law of right thinking and living. This is provided in The Way Out and The Way Beyond.

(2) To the development and awakening of the soul, aided by thorough instruction as to just what is the soul, its birth, life, growth, purpose and destiny. This is provided in The Inner Life Course, a cloth bound book;

(3) To the unfoldment of the Spirit, with full guidance how to find and know the Christ within, and then, through following Him, how to gain the Kingdom of Heaven.

This is provided in a series of lessons issued every three weeks to those who are making the finding of the Kingdom first in their lives, and who are no longer seeking anything for self, but to prepare themselves for service under the direction of their Christ Selves. There is no charge for these lessons, it being left to the hearts of those being helped by their truths to tell them what to do in return.

All souls eventually come together and proceed over the same Path to the Kingdom, but the stage of unfoldment of each soul in the present life depends upon the so-called age of the soul. Those souls who have come ino the world to have-a definite part in preparing the way for the New Era are all old souls, and therefore should be given a uniform course of study, in order to uncover to their brain minds the knowledge and powers of their souls that they have brought with them, and thus as quickly as possible to prepare them for the work they came here to do. All others should be taught the true meaning of life's purpose, in order to bring about their soul's awakening, and thus prepare them consciously and understanding to work with those who will be the leaders in the great Christ Movement now seeking to draw every possible soul into the Light of the Christ Spirit and to enable them to walk and work in It consciously.

A CALL TO SERVICE

THIS Message is addressed to every person seeking an opportunity serve in a definite way the Cause of BROTHERHOOD.

The time has come when all such, who realize they are here for a purpose and that purpose is concerned with the good of all people, must in a way now set themselves apart; must take a stand that will establish them unequivocally on the side of Righteousness, Justice and Truth.

Therefore, those who have dedicated themselves or who wish to dedicate themselves to Christ, our Beloved Leader, are now called upon to become His outposts, His agents, through whom the Great Christ Brotherhood of the Spirit can accomplish the Will of our Father in Heaven.

This first work is preliminary and preparatory, in that it will ac­ custom you to definite and consecrated effort and will prepare your minds so that they will become pure, selfless, open channels through which can be done the Father's Work on earth even as planned in Heaven.

Upon the degree of your faithfulness in observing this request; your dedicating yourselves wholly to Christ's and the Father's use; your keeping self and its "thoughts out entirely and being wholly one-pointed in this Service, will you be preparing yourselves for greater and more individual Service.

EVERY day at 12 o'clock noon, no matter where you are or what you are doing, throw off all outer thoughts and interests and retire into the silence of your Soul. See yourself surrounded with and abiding in the Light of God's Love;

Feel It all around you as a powerful and all-encompassing Presence; Feel It likewise pressing forth and then pouring forth from within you, illumining and harmonizing the consciousness of every cell of your body and every faculty of your mind, so that they all become pure, wide-open channels for the expression of that Love. Then, realizing that you are now a perfect center of that Love, let Its Light and Power pour forth as from a great Beacon Light, shining and extending Its radiance to the far corners of the earth into the hearts and minds of everyone able to receive It. See that Light of God's Love quickening, awakening, developing and expanding the Christ Light within all such, enabling them consciously to walk in and be taught by that Light.

Remain in this Consciousness from three to five minutes, all the time seeing and feeling the Light radiating from you in its Divine glory and effectiveness. Sing glad praises to God that His Kingdom is now preparing to come forth into the outer lives of His children, and thank Him for enabling you to serve Him efficiently to that end.

That is all you need to do. The Father will do the rest. For all the Brothers in the Kingdom, forming the Great Army of Light working under Christ's direction, will pour the mighty Power of God's illuminating, healing and freeing Love through you their human channels to those They have prepared to receive It, and at the same time will help them to receive It. In this manner will you be working consciously with your Brothers in the Kingdom. Those of you who feel the true significance of this Call, and of the work you are asked to do, and therefore do it re­ligiously and perfectly as requested, proving that you can co-operate effectively with your Brothers in Christ, will naturally be fitting your­ selves for more individual service.

AT 12 O'CLOCK noon is the time of the greatest downpouring of the light (Wisdom), heat (Love), and energy (Power) of the Sun (the visible expression of our Father-God), and when the Light of His Love has. the greatest power to penetrate the darkened consciousness of men of earth.

Therefore, as near to that time as possible, no matter where you are—in what state or country, for there is no time or space in Spirit, give your body, mind and will as a wide-open channel through which that Light can be poured. If you determine that nothing shall inter­fere with that hour, you will find that it will be arranged for you.

Should anything unforseen prevent your being free, you can for the moment close your eyes and mind to all outer things and retire into the silence of your soul, giving yourself entirely to the Brother­hood, seeing and feeling the Light of Divine Love pouring through you as above.

If you ever feel strongly urged to direct this Light to some one who needs help of any kind, see It surrounding, entering and quicken­ing the soul of that one, so that its own Light begins to shine through and unite consciously with the - Christ Light, thus opening it wide to receive the healing and blessing power of That Light.
